11 amazing things to do in San Francisco
Sunday, 25 June 2017
My first impression of San Francisco wasn’t the best one. It was cold. Windy. The streets were busy and there’s homeless people everywhere. We had to take the BART (which is the train system there) and it reminded me way too much of the Parisian metro. Did I mention how cold it was?
I have read that San Francisco is one of the most European-like cities in the United States. I guess I agree with that – it didn’t feel like 14 flight hours away from home. There’s public transportation that looks just like ours, it’s not as spacious as Los Angeles, and to me personally, it’s not as impressive as New York. Maybe that’s why I didn’t like it at first. Or maybe I just started looking in the wrong place.
My shopping problem & lovely new picks for summer
Sunday, 18 June 2017
I love shopping. I love fashion, getting new clothes, styling new outfits and... ending up in the same old jeans-and-sweater combo because I'm too lazy to dress up for work. Like really, you're glued to a chair for the whole day, what's even the point?
Admittedly, I don't even try in the winter. I love jeans and comfy, oversized sweaters - I'm not gonna lie, I would wear them every day if the weather could just stay below 10°C - so why bother putting together less comfortable and cosy outfits?
In the summer, however, I'm facing the dilemma of having to cut my all-time favourite pieces out of my wardrobe and store them in boxes for the fall - so I tend to go shopping (a lot) to try and fill that hole. That's basically what happened this year as well, and I ended up finding some things that I really love! So here I am, putting together my first fashion related post and hoping that someone else will find some inspiration in it!
Here you go, a couple of my favourite summer finds and how I style them.

My wonderful first experience with RV life
Sunday, 4 June 2017
I rented an RV for the first time when we went for our road trip through Arizona and Utah in the beginning of May. I have to be honest: the main reasons why I convinced Matt to do this were my apprehensions of motels: bed bugs, blood stains on the mattress, having to unpack and repack my stuff every day... an RV just seemed like a comfortable choice for a week long road trip. Plus, we'd have a kitchen and wouldn't have to eat out all the time. In the end, we went for it mainly because none of us had ever tried it before, and we were curious to know what it was like.
